gallente suits have less amrour but have passive reps and a good mix of speed/agailty/hp. ammar suits have high hp crap speed/agilty but are literally walking walls. Aside from this being flat-out wrong, the Amarr heavy has two highslots and only 3 lows, compared to the Gal Sentinel with 1x high and 4x lows. So, the theoretical max hp (all complex shield extenders and complex plates) IS higher on the Gallente Sentinel than Amarr.
What's even MORE mind-boggling is that the Amarr Sentinel GETS BONUSES TO SHIELDS. WTF!? The slot configuration and bonuses need to be reversed. Here's why:
Amarr are about heavy armor tank, and they have increased stamina/regen to compensate getting from point A to point B. 4x lows on the Amarr suit make it ideal for a heavy armor tank. Plus, if an Amarr Sentinel chooses to take advantage of the innately-higher armor amount, he can fit a Kincat or Cardiac Regulator in the extra low to maximize that stamina advantage and still have a respectable tank. The 1x high slot is sufficient for a damage mod, because presumably the Scrambler Lance (Amarr heavy weapon) will already do +20% damage to shields. Next, change the damn bonuses to both affect armor. Amarr don't need shield resistances lolol (considering they have the LOWEST base shield hp of the heavies to boot!).
Gallente--contrary to what CCP Shanghai would like--are not diametrically opposite to Caldari. In fact, Gallente share much with Minmatar instead. They both prefer nimble, quicker engagements with an emphasis on self-repair. Gallente have higher base speeds to both compensate with armor plates and because their weapons need to be extremely close to apply damage. Having 3x lows on the Sentinel keeps the suit quick even with 3x plates (since the 4th plate isn't available to slow the Sentinel down) and 2x high slots mean more damage mods which means more damage--a Gallente racial trait. Further, swapping the bonuses with Amarr (so Gallente have shield/armor resistance and Amarr have all armor resistance) means that the Gallente can better take advantage of niche shield fits with its higher-than-Amarr base shield and (new) 2x high slots.
TL;DR -- Amarr and Gallente should have their bonuses/slots swapped. It more closely matches their racial philosophies and hp/bonus values in game.
